Inside_Sylvania_Store.jpgOur history dates back to the 1970's when Dave Mason began to suffer from a health problem and turned to a new health measure called "jogging". He secured the recommended shoes and the entire family began running road races held throughout the state. As he was continually asked where to secure the proper shoes, he began taking a few pairs to the events. Before Dave and Sandy Mason realized it, they had a business underway.

Today that business includes three locations, a staff of more than twenty people, and a business model that is committed to excellent service, excellent products, and community involvement.

We are a mission-driven company that aims to set the standards of excellence for customer service and active lifestyle products. Quality is a state of mind at Dave's Running Shop. We demand quality from our products and our people. Our Mission is simple: We exist to equip, empower, outfit, train and educate people from all walks of life to achieve and accomplish goals for an active life.

We are now involved in 50+ running and walking events in Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan, our staff includes elite runners and "weekend warriors", and our single passion is to get the best footwear and outerwear on our customers.
