...provided the roads are in better shape than they were this evening I should be out there...
...I anticipate the park being 'runable' after this bit of snow...a nice escape from the wind as well...

...unfortunately I forgot my snowshoes this morning, otherwise it was a pleasant if not challenging run...
...one of my greatest challenges was staying on my feet this morning. I had two major falls, both taking me all the way into the snow...yet until the end I refused to run in the middle of the trail...
...African American history was the category this morning, 'who was the first African American to start in the NFL?' and 'who was the first African American to appear on a US stamp?'...I guessed wrong on both accounts, though I really believed my guess of Washington Carver (the peanut guy) was good for the stamp...nope
...I've spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out Professor Lohman's joke about the old man in the airport...to no avail, but the good news is I did figure out another word that is spelled the same forwards and backwards: madam....
